Court judgments and case documents, translated for Dubai Courts
Courts in Dubai work in Arabic. Any document in another language that goes into a case file has to be filed with a certified Arabic translation made by a legal translator licensed by the UAE Ministry of Justice. The same applies in reverse when a UAE judgment has to be used abroad.
Mundo is a legal translation office approved by the UAE Ministry of Justice. Your court documents are translated by Ahmed Muhammad Sabar, a legal translator registered with the Ministry of Justice since 2008 (registration no. 302), and every translation carries the Ministry of Justice stamp.

Arabic for Dubai Courts, English for use abroad
Most of our court work is English to Arabic: contracts, correspondence and foreign documents that a lawyer needs to file in a case in Dubai. We also translate Arabic judgments and case documents into English, for example when a judgment has to be enforced in another country or explained to a client, a bank or an insurer outside the UAE.
If your case is before the DIFC Courts, which work in English, the direction is usually the opposite: Arabic documents need an English translation. Tell us which court the file is going to and we prepare the translation in the format that court expects.
For lawyers and law firms
When a law firm sends us a case file, we keep the court’s layout for headings, case numbers, parties and dates so the translation can be checked against the original line by line, and we keep the same terminology across every document in the same case. If a hearing date is coming, tell us when you send the file and we confirm whether the deadline can be met before we start. Firms that send us work regularly can open a corporate account, with one monthly invoice and priority delivery.
How it works
- Send us the document. A clear scan or photograph on WhatsApp or by email is enough to start.
- Tell us the court and the deadline. Which court the file is going to, and the hearing or filing date if there is one.
- We confirm the cost and the delivery date. You get a fixed quote and a realistic date before anything begins.
- We translate, review and stamp. Names, case numbers, dates and amounts are checked against the original.
- You collect, or we send it. The stamped translation is ready to file.
Timelines and cost
Turnaround depends on the length of the document. A short judgment or a single page of evidence can often be ready the same day; a long case file takes longer. We confirm a date before we start rather than quoting an optimistic one.
Pricing depends on the length and the language pair. Send the document on WhatsApp and you will have a quote within 10 minutes, with no obligation.
Frequently asked questions
Will Dubai Courts accept your translation?
Yes. Our translations are made by a legal translator licensed by the UAE Ministry of Justice and carry the Ministry of Justice stamp, which is what Dubai Courts, the Rental Disputes Settlement Centre and the Notary Public require for documents in a foreign language.
Can you translate a judgment into English for use outside the UAE?
Yes. We translate Arabic judgments and case documents into English. If the judgment is going to be used in another country, it will usually also need attestation; we can tell you the route and handle the UAE stages for you.
Do you translate WhatsApp chats and emails submitted as evidence?
Yes. We translate them in full, keeping the order of messages, the names and the dates and times, so the translation can be read side by side with the screenshots.
What if the case has a hearing date soon?
Tell us the date when you send the file. We confirm whether the deadline can be met before we start, so you are not left waiting on the day of the hearing.
Do you need the original documents?
No. Scans and clear photographs are enough for the translation. If the receiving authority asks to see the original, we will tell you before you file.
