Birth, marriage and degree certificate translation in Dubai, certified and ready the same day
A residency file, a family visa, a school place or an equivalency application usually stops at one document: the certificate in Arabic. We translate birth, marriage, divorce and academic certificates with a certified, stamped translation you can submit as soon as you receive it.
Mundo is a legal translation office approved by the UAE Ministry of Justice. Certificates are translated by Ahmed Muhammad Sabar, a legal translator registered with the Ministry of Justice since 2008 (registration no. 302). Send a photo of the certificate on WhatsApp and get your quote within 10 minutes.

What a certified translation looks like
Every certified translation is printed on the office letterhead with the certification statement and the office stamp, laid out to follow the original document. The sample below uses made-up details, and the stamp is hidden on purpose.

Sample only. All names, numbers and dates are made up, and the stamp is hidden in this image.
Where our translations are accepted
| Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship | Residency and family sponsorship files |
|---|---|
| Universities and the Ministry of Education | Equivalency and admission |
| Embassies and consulates | Visas and consular applications |
| Banks and employers | Account opening and hiring |
| Dubai Courts and the Notary Public | Files that need the Ministry of Justice stamp |
Each authority has its own requirements. Send us the certificate, tell us where it is going, and we confirm exactly what is needed before you commit to anything.
A certificate issued abroad
A certificate issued outside the UAE usually has to be attested before a UAE authority accepts it: in the issuing country, by that country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the UAE embassy there, and then by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The certified Arabic translation comes last, so it also covers the attestation stamps on the page. We follow up the attestation for you if needed. See document attestation and attestation or translation first?
Names must match the passport
A certificate often spells a name differently from the passport, especially when the original is in another script. We follow the official record, so send a copy of the passport or Emirates ID with the certificate. Older, handwritten and heavily stamped certificates are routine for us.
Urgent? Ready the same day
Most personal certificates are one or two pages and are delivered the same day. If you have an appointment or a deadline, tell us the date when you send the file and we confirm whether we can meet it before you start. For a full family file or a set of academic certificates, we can usually translate more than 20 pages in a single working day.
How it works
- Send the certificate. A phone photo or a PDF on WhatsApp or by email. Photos and scans are both fine.
- Get the quote within 10 minutes. We confirm the cost and the delivery time before any work begins.
- Receive the certified translation. A stamped PDF, or a printed copy from our office in Al Nahda.
Frequently asked questions
Is your translation accepted for residency applications?
Yes. Our certified translations are accepted for identity, citizenship, family sponsorship and residency applications.
How long does a birth certificate translation take?
Usually the same day. Send it in the morning and you receive it before the end of the day.
My certificate is not in Arabic or English. Can you translate it?
Yes. We translate from Russian, French, Turkish, Portuguese, Georgian, Kyrgyz, Italian, Spanish, German and other languages. Arabic and English are translated in-house and accepted by Dubai Courts, the Notary Public and UAE government departments. Translations from other languages are usually accepted by immigration, universities, embassies and banks, so tell us where you will submit the certificate and we confirm before you order.
Do you handle the attestation too?
Yes. Our licence covers following up the attestation of certificates and documents, so if your certificate needs attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or an embassy, we can follow up that step for you.
My certificate is old and handwritten. Is that a problem?
No. Old, handwritten and stamped documents are routine for us.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the document, the number of pages and the language. Send it on WhatsApp and you get the quote within 10 minutes, with no commitment.
